Main Responsibilities as a D365 Business Central (BC) Developer

  • Design, develop, and test solutions on NAV/BC platforms
  • Develop custom C/AL and AL code to implement business requirements
  • Be responsible for installing, upgrading, configuring, troubleshooting, documenting, and customizing on a NAV/BC platform
  • Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents
  • Liaise with clients regularly to understand their business requirements and coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed by pre-determined deadlines
  • Be responsible for effective customer escalation management

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in development on NAV/BC
  • Expertise in building extensions, report writing, and development of customizations
  • Expertise in moving the code base from NAV to Business Central
  • Expert level understanding of Visual Studio Code with TFS/Docker/Git
  • Solid Infrastructure knowledge of:
    • Windows Containers
    • PowerShell
  • Good knowledge of XML/Json builder
  • Good knowledge of .Net code and API integration with AL/CAL code
  • Expertise working with AL-Object Types
  • Expert level understanding of PowerBI and Machine Learning
  • Graduate degree (BE/B Tech/BCA) or diploma in Engineering
  • Preferred Certifications:
    • Microsoft Dynamics NAV
    • Business Central Development
  • Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills
  • Ability to work independently and guide junior team members to deliver above and beyond commitments
  • Strong learning orientation with regards to new technologies and implementation
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
