sa.global is looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Project Manager - Internal Systems to join our dynamic consulting team!

Purpose Statement

To continually improve the quality of sa.global internal tools through building the right systems, supported by the right processes, leading to sa.global being our own best reference for what can be achieved in the Microsoft Cloud.

Main Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for internal systems

  • Report and work with the CFO to ensure potential projects are prioritized
  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure potential projects are identified
  • Ensure all key stakeholders who are impacted by a potential project are identified
  • Work with stakeholders to facilitate the gathering project requirements and objectives
  • Capture and document stakeholder requirements in a clear and structured format
  • Based on the gathered requirements, define the scope of the project, including its deliverables, budget, and timeline
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Facilitate and lead steering group meetings for each internal systems project
  • Communicate the project plan to all stakeholders for review and approval

Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to internal systems

  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of internal systems projects, including but not limited to software implementation, process improvements, and system integration
  • Monitor project progress including budget, track key milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate the development and deployment of system solutions
  • Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend process improvements for future projects
  • Coordination of internal systems change management activities
  • Evaluate the potential impact of the projects on the organization, including processes, workflows, roles, and culture, including readiness of stakeholders
  • Create change management plans that outline how changes will be communicated, implemented, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop clear and concise communication materials to inform stakeholders about the upcoming changes, including the rationale behind the change, its benefits, and how it will affect them
  • Proactively identify and address resistance to change among stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver tailored training programs to equip stakeholders with the knowledge and skills required to use new systems or processes effectively
  • Regularly assess the progress of change implementation and adoption
  • Recognize and celebrate milestones and achievements throughout the change management process
  • Highlight success stories and positive outcomes to reinforce the benefits of the change and motivate stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven ability to lead, both directly and indirectly, across multiple groups of stakeholders
  • Lead others through putting the needs of the team first
  • Financial acumen and experience implementing internal systems including ERP, CRM/CE, HRM, and Business Intelligence
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to turn strategic thinking into tactical plans and actions
  • Evidenced ability to succinctly communicate relevant information to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline processes through the simplification of tools, the use of automation, and/or the integration of artificial intelligence
